Methodist Mansfield Medical Center hosts free women’s health event on Saturday, May 4

Learn the latest in spring makeup trends from Benefit® Cosmetics and how to live healthfully as a modern woman at the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center’s “Mommy MD” event on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center - Mansfield, TX, 2700 E. Broad Street in Mansfield.

Women are encouraged to gather their girlfriends and join this girl’s day out, where they’ll be treated to delicious refreshments, fascinating speakers, exciting door prizes such as a Vera Bradley® weekender bag, samples of some of the latest beauty products, and answers to the most pressing health questions. 

Director of women services Vicki Wiseman will emcee the event in honor of National Women’s Health month. Guests will hear from spokeswoman and internationally known actress Andie MacDowell who will deliver a very special taped video message along with informative talks from physician experts about women’s health, tools for beautiful skin, a healthier heart and gynecologic health. The da Vinci® surgical robot will also be displayed for guests to view. Guests will receive results from their lipid profile and glucose screening* earlier in the week for women age 18 and older.  *The $20 biometric screening begins promptly between 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 29 through Thursday May 2 at Methodist Mansfield. The test requires a 10-hour fast. For the most accurate results, do not eat or drink after midnight, with the exception of water and/or your regularly prescribed medicines (taken with water).
