Timberview and Summit Football Remain Undefeated in District Action

Mansfield High School
The Tigers fell at DeSoto High on Friday, 49-21, dropping to 4-3 for the season, 1-3 in district play. After a bye this week, Mansfield faces South Grand Prairie High School at home on Oct. 24.
Mansfield Legacy High School
The Broncos lost a close one on Friday to Seguin, 25-20. They fall to 3-3 on the season and 1-2 in district action. Legacy led by 3 points at halftime, but were outscored by 8 points in the second half. They return home Friday to face Lancaster at 7:30 p.m.
Mansfield Timberview High School
Junior Devin Williams led the Wolves to a 56-14 rout of Lake Ridge on Friday, completing 10 of 12 passes for 215 yards and three touchdowns. He added a touchdown on the ground while rushing for 61 yards on seven attempts. Timberview is now 5-1 this year and 3-0 in the district. Next up, they face Waxahachie on the road on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Mansfield Summit High School
The Jags advance to 4-2 on the season and remain undefeated in district play at 3-0 after taking down Waxahachie, 55-27, on Friday night. Summit will take on Seguin next on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at home.
Mansfield Lake Ridge High School
The Eagles fell to Timberview on Friday night. They are 3-3 this year with a 1-2 district record. Lake Ridge faces off against Red Oak on the road on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
