Fort Worth City Clean Up Day For Hazardous Waste Disposal
Still have hazardous household waste left over from moving or painting, and not sure what to do with it? Luckily, if you are a resident of Fort Worth or Dalworthington Gardens, June 25th marks City Clean Up Day.
This year’s city clean up day will include the Fort Worth Crud Cruiser & American Shredding Company. The shredding company will be onsite from 9:00am-12:00pm, so be sure to get there on time!
What is a Crud Cruiser?
Crud Cruiser mobile collection trailers travel to neighborhoods to collect household hazardous waste from March through November. See the below video for more information about the Crud Cruiser.
These events are for residents of the host government only. Residents of other cities will be turned away. Commercial, business or industrial waste cannot be accepted under Texas regulations.
Bring proof of residency (current water bill, valid driver’s license) and a voucher if required by your city.
The capacity of the Crud Cruiser is limited, so events may end earlier than advertised. Events may also be cancelled in the event of rain. In either case, please do not leave household hazardous waste and chemicals in the parking lot. In either case, please bring items to the City of Fort Worth’s Environmental Collection Center.
Fort Worth residents can contact 817-392-EASY (3279) for more information about disposal and recycling of household hazardous waste. Residents of other cities should contact their city for more information.
