Research has shown that introducing STEM education at an early age has been beneficial for both critical thinking, as well as creativity. An understanding of STEM helps us make sense of our everyday lives.
In a world that is growing increasingly complex, it's not about what you know anymore, but about what you can do with that knowledge, and how you can hone it. And that is where the creativity comes into play.
Science surrounds us daily -- in the weather, plants, foods, electricity, and so much more. Having a comfortable base in Science is beneficial on so many levels that reach far more than career incentives.
Likewise, the importance of understanding Technology in our incredibly technological age goes without saying. As we move more and more into a digital age, being able to understand and innovate technology will become not only helpful, but essential.
Engineering is an important aspect of developing any given community. From civil to electrical engineering, there are so many variations to explore when it comes to engineering. As far as Mathematics goes, without having at least a basic awareness, even day-to-day things, like paying for something with cash, would be difficult.
Starting at an early age is the key. The Children's Spot, a preschool and day care, integrates fun and STEM seamlessly into their lesson plans. They provide a safe place for children to explore all aspects of STEM in a fun and exciting way. Being a 4 Star accredited school in the Texas Rising Star Program, The Children's Spot has a long history of successfully, and lovingly, educating children.
