New discoveries in the pioneering research of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia are advancing the development of dealing with the disease’s onset and possibilities for finding a cure. Join Isle at Watercrest-Mansfield in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association on Thursday, September 13 from 2:00-4:00pm and hear Dr. Meharvan Singh speak about the revolutionary new findings in the quest to find a cure for this debilitating disease.

Dr. Singh is Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience, University of North Texas Health Science Center. He is engaged in the study of how specific hormones regulate brain function with the goal of identifying prevention strategies for age-associated cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease and other disorders. Dr. Singh will summarize what we know About Alzheimer’s to date, describe the latest findings related to hormones and brain health and offer a glimpse into the future of the fight against Alzheimer’s.
