Bountiful Buttons - Create a Button Wreath Ornament using upcycled materials

Dec 10, 2012 03:49PM ● By Mary Phillips

Create this Charming Button Wreath Ornament this holiday season

This SuperGroovy button wreath ornament only took a few moments to make and is sure to be a hit with family and friends... Who doesn't have a jar or box of old buttons stashed in the closet somewhere? Not you? Don't despair, you can purchase them at craft stores in bulk if nothing turns up at a garage sale next weekend:)

You will need about 60 buttons, some floral wire and a 12 inch scrap of ribbon.  That's it!
String the buttons on the wire (I used about a 20 inch piece of wire, so there would be plenty to work with..)

Form your strand of buttons into a wreath shape, and twist both ends of wire together then form them into a loop...

Tie your ribbon at the base of your wire loop and you have a clever gift or fun ornament for your tree! Creative Bohemian Genius at its finest! xoxo
