There’s a lot of love in this issue of Mansfield Magazine – and I’m not just talking about the love we put into producing it. With the holidays now behind us many look forward to the next big holiday when love is on the menu – Valentine’s Day.
You can get things started with Carol Ritchie’s 10 stress-free gourmet ideas for Valentine’s Day. She provides not only great cooking ideas to surprise that special someone – or enjoy cooking together - but also discusses creating cookie bouquets and heart-shaped goodies to celebrate. And for a great breakfast in bed idea try our Red Velvet Pancake recipe.
And to sweeten the pot, Mary Phillips, shares her recipe for making Homemade Honey Granola.
The Homestyle segment in this issue has a slightly different flavor as Laurie Fox offers great Valentine’s Day gift ideas. She explains the holiday doesn’t have to be stressful and you don’t have to feel confined to the same old flowers and chocolates. Check out the interesting and creative ideas for a new twist on gifts for both men and women. To dress up your home for Valentine’s check out these creative and inexpensive DIY craft projects that even the littlest of sweethearts can participate in making.
Animal lovers will want to be sure to read our interview with Mansfield Animal Care and Control Manager Lori Rodriguez. She truly loves animals and is doing everything she can to ensure as many pets as possible are healthy and have good, safe homes here in the Mansfield area.
So that’s a lot of love in one issue of Mansfield Magazine. We hope you like what you read and let us hear from you! (We love feedback)
