Casting Crowns Takes Fall Tour to UTA

"In the past year, Casting Crowns has garnered numerous accolades, including three Grammy nominations, an RIAA 2x multi-Platinum certification and multiple RIAA Gold certifications, with total album sales surpassing 8 million," a recent press release explained. "Building on that momentum, The THRIVE Tour is sure to not disappoint, with a set list that includes Casting Crowns' biggest hits and selections from the group's new release, THRIVE, the band's first full-length effort in two years."
Concessions and artist merchandise will be available for purchase during the event. The doors to the event open at 6 p.m. Parking ranges from $10 to $20.
Directions to the venue are as follows:
Exit I-20 on Cooper Street, FM 157, and go north. Proceed approximately four miles to UTA Blvd. Turn east (right) on UTA Blvd. Proceed ¼ mile and turn right on S. Center Street. End: 600 S. Center Street.
Exit I-30 on Center Street, and go south. Proceed approximately two miles. End: 600 S. Center Street (Parking garages will be on your right).
UT Arlington encourages College Park Center visitors to check availability in the Park North and Park Center garages at UTA Boulevard and Center Street. The garages are north of the events center in the College Park District.
Campus police generally will direct traffic first to the College Park garages, then to lots off South Cooper Street, south of Mitchell Street.
Please note that vehicles parked at private apartment complexes adjacent to campus may be towed.Following a successful 40-city spring run, the multiplatinum-selling group extended the tour for the fall season with an additional 40 U.S. tour dates in support of the band’s critically acclaimed studio album, THRIVE. The album was released on Jan. 28. The fall leg of the tour kicked off Sept. 18 in Las Cruces, N.M., and has continued throughout the fall visiting major markets, including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Spokane, Oklahoma City, Nashville, San Antonio, Tulsa, Birmingham, Washington D.C. and Pittsburgh, among others.
