Timberview Shuts Out Red Oak, Duffey Scores 5 Touchdowns for Lake Ridge

Mansfield High School
Coming off the bye, the Tigers pulled off a 35-28 victory over South Grand Prairie. Mansfield is now 5-3 on the season with a 2-2 district record. They hit the road to face Cedar Hill on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Mansfield Legacy High School
The Broncos suffered a 59-32 loss to Legacy on Friday night. They fall to 3-5 overall and 1-4 in the district. Up next, Legacy faces Timberview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at home.

Mansfield Timberview High School
The Wolves shut out Red Oak, 49-0, on Friday night, scoring 21 third-quarter points. Timberview advances to 7-1 this year and remains undefeated in the district at 5-0. They face Legacy on Friday at 7:30 p.m. on the road.

Mansfield Summit High School
The Jaguars lost a nail-biter to Lancaster on Friday night, 27-24. They are now 5-3 this season with a 4-1 district record. Summit heads back home on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. to face Lake Ridge.

Mansfield Lake Ridge High School
Lake Ridge defeated Legacy on Friday night, 59-32. The Eagles posted 28 points in the opening quarter to set the tone. Quarterback Jett Duffey threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 133 yards and three touchdowns. Duke Carter added three touchdowns of his own on the ground, rushing for 281 yards. Lake Ridge is 5-3 on the season and has a 3-2 district record. They face Summit on Friday at 7:30 p.m. on the road.
