Mansfield High School
The Tigers picked up a 49-34 victory over Cedar Hill on Friday. Mansfield's season record stands at 6-3. They have a 3-2 district record. They face Midlothian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night. The matchup is a home game for Mansfield.

Mansfield Legacy High School
Legacy dropped to 3-6 after losing to Timberview on Friday night, 35-20. Despite holding a 1-point lead at the half, the Broncos were outscored 15-0 in the third quarter and could not recover. Sheldon Hogan went 8/16 for 65 yards and a touchdown in the air and added 11 yards on the ground. Byron Woods scored two touchdowns on 30 yards from scrimmage. Gentry Ivery added a receiving touchdown. He caught for 20 yards. Legacy's district record is 1-5. They hit the road to take on Red Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.

Mansfield Timberview High School
The Wolves defeated Legacy, 35-20, on Friday night, advancing to 8-1 on the season and 6-0 in the district. Timberview faces Summit at home on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Mansfield Summit High School
The Jaguars defeated Lake Ridge in a battle on Friday night, 44-41. Despite shooting out the gates with a 17-0 first quarter, Summit gave up 14 points in each of the second and third quarters. They were able to hold on with solid offensive efforts from Burrell Taylor (11 carries, 70 yards rushing, 5 receptions, 85 yards receiving, 3 total touchdowns), and Derek Johnson (18 carries, 155 yards, 1 touchdown). Summit is now 6-3 overall with a 5-1 district record. The Jags take on Timberview on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Mansfield Lake Ridge High School
Lake Ridge fell to Summit on Friday night, 44-41. They are 5-4 this season and 3-3 in the district. They take on Seguin on Thursday at 7 p.m. at home.
