Mansfield ISD shared some great news with district parents last week. Here are some of the highlights from the announcements:

  • District receives top finance awards for excellence in financial accountability and transparency - read more.
  • Students were honored as National Hispanic Scholars for outstanding academic achievement on the PSAT - read more.
  • The Asa Low Intermediate PTA was recognized by the National PTA as a National School of Excellence - see photos.
  • MISD Trustee Karen Marcucci is one of 35 school board trustees in the state to participate in the Texas Association of School Board Leadership Program - read more
  • Summit HS Coach Travis Pride was recognized as 'Dallas Cowboys Whataburger High School Coach of the Week' - see photos. 
  • MISD hosted a Legislative Breakfast attended by superintendents, school board trustees, and elected officials from the area - see photos.
  • The district held its Annual Life Skills Track and Field Event on October 14 and 15 - read more
  • James Coble PTA hosted a "Y Knot" Necktie Donation Drive - read more.
