Mansfield Hoops: Lake Ridge Boys and Girls Teams Win Out Last Week

Mansfield High School
The Tigers topped Lamar, 59-41, last Tuesday. Starting the game with a 12-0 run early in the first quarter, Mansfield never lost the lead in the game. The Tigers face off against Carroll tonight at 7:30 p.m. on the home court. Their record stands at 4-5 this year.
Cedar Hill defeated the Tigers, 55-88, on Friday night. They face off against Midlothian tonight at 6 p.m. on the road. Mansfield's record stands at 4-8.
Mansfield Legacy High School
The Broncos were routed by Richardson last Wednesday, 56-29. Nick Stanley led Legacy in scoring with 9 points. He also had two rebounds and two steals on defense. Ennis is up next for the Broncos tonight at 8 p.m. on the home court. Legacy's record is 4-4.
Lake Ridge defeated the Broncos, 67-59, last Tuesday. Up next is Ennis tonight at 6:30 p.m. on their home court. Legacy is 9-3 this year.
Mansfield Timberview High School
The Wolves lost to Lancaster on Friday night, 54-43. Timberview will hit the road for a game against Seguin tonight at 8 p.m. The Wolves' record is 4-3 thus far.
Timberview nudged Lancaster on Friday night, 49-46. They travel to Seguin tonight for a 6:30 p.m. tip. Their record is 7-2.
Mansfield Summit High School
The Jaguars edged Seguin on Friday night, 55-52. They take on Waxahachie tonight at 8 p.m. in an away game. Summit is now 6-2 on the season.
The Jaguars were taken down by Seguin on Friday night, 57-45. Taylor Jones led Summit in scoring with 14 points. Waxahachie is the next opponent. Summit faces them tonight on the road at 6:30 p.m. The Jaguars record is 9-5.
Mansfield Lake Ridge High School
The Eagles dominated Ennis on Friday night, breaking the century mark, 104-57. With the best record in Mansfield ISD, Lake Ridge is 8-2 overall. They face Red Oak tonight at 8 p.m. at home.
The Eagles picked up two wins last week, defeating Legacy on Tuesday, 67-59, and Ennis on Friday, 53-32. Kennedy Burks and Kristian DeWitt each scored 15 points on Friday night. Lake Ridge takes on Red Oak tonight at 6:30 p.m. at home. The Eagles are 5-7 so far this season.
