The Legacy Bronco Band brings its annual fundraiser back to Mansfield National Golf Club on Saturday, April 11, with a 2 p.m. shotgun start.

"Help meet important needs to inspire students while promoting educational excellence and quality music," the event flyer says.

The outing features a four-player team scramble, music by the band, a raffle, and plenty of contests.

Contests include:
  • Team prizes for first, second and third place
  • Longest drive and CTP
  • Putting and Par 3
Plus, the hole-in-one contest, this year, features a $13,000 Harley Davidson DYNA SUPER GLIDE CUSTOM as the prize.

Check-in, snacks and driving range opening occur at 1 p.m., followed by the 2 p.m. shotgun start. At 6, the early raffle drawing will be held, along with dinner, followed by awards and the big raffle at 6:15.

Register online at, or mail registrations by March 28. Registration is $95 per player on or before March 28. After that date, each player can register for $120. Registration includes green fee, cart, GPS, driving range, snacks, dinner, and special tournament gifts.

The Legacy Bronco Band Boosters is a nonprofit organization.

"[We] would like to thank you for your support of our band program," the flyer says. "Our group's purpose is to support the Legacy High School Band by assisting our directors, students and administration in developing an outstanding band program. Your participation in our golf tournament will allow us to hire additional instruction for our students, purchase additional equipment and supplies not provided by the school district, award scholarships to qualifying students, and much, much more."
