The City of Kennedale, Texas is seeking full-time Firefighter Paramedics. The city is seeking ethical and trustworthy candidates interested in serving the public, building relationships, working as part of a team and continuing to learn and develop. Firefighter/Paramedic (Preferred) or Paramedic - not certified by Texas Commission on Fire Protection is also acceptable but must obtain within 6 months.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a class “C” Texas Drivers License, Paramedic certification (Preferred). TCFP Basic Firefighter certification is required within 6 months of employment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Satisfactory completion of a written examination, physical agility test, background and reference check, peer board and chief’s interview, psychological, polygraph, physical fitness assessment and drug and alcohol screening prior to employment.
