MISD Opens Summer Program to Feed the Community

Mansfield ISD Student Nutrition Services is excited to introduce a new summer feeding program starting June 10 that will benefit the whole community.
The Seamless Summer Option, funded through a federal grant, allows the district to continue normal breakfast and lunch service over the summer to any child 18 years and younger completely free of charge--even if they aren't enrolled in MISD summer programs!
The free nutritious meals will include protein, grains, fruit, vegetables and milk. All children must select a fruit and/or vegetable, and all meals must be eaten on site. Adult meals are available for $3.50. View the menu here.

July 20 – August 6 | Ponder Elementary School | 8:35 – 9:05 a.m. | 12 – 12:45 p.m. |
(Note: students enrolled in summer programs eat at separate times than the “public access” meal times listed. Public access is at the back of the campuses near the cafeteria, and there will be a police officer present at each site.)

Other Available Summer Feeding Programs
- Feed the Kids for Summer - Different locations around Mansfield and Arlington will be open during June 4 through August 24 to make sure students on free or reduced lunch continue to get fed in the summer months. Location and times may vary (Saturday times are available). View the schedule here.
