Mansfield Made No. 2 in Summer List of Best Places to Live in Texas

With all of the exciting news going on in Mansfield since its 2014 ranking in Money Magazine, there's a lot of chatter about where the city stands in the state of Texas. decided to rank Texas towns in order to determine the best places to live in the state. Mansfield made the list and was only beat out by McKinney.

"Another town in the Dallas Metroplex, Mansfield ranked #17 on Money magazine's best places to live in America in 2014," the article, written by Kristen Lawrence back in June, said. "With a population of about 60,000, it isn't so big that you feel cramped, but it's big enough that you can find everything you need for a good quality of life. From superior rated schools to a growing business community to local waterparks and other recreational activities, Mansfield offers the luxuries of big city living in a relatively small, safe, and beautiful town."

McKinney steals the show, as Money Magazine ranked it the best town to live in America in 2014. Mansfield was 17th on the same list. The rest of OnlyInYourState's rankings are as follows:
