Mansfield Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Burglary Suspect

On August 8th 2015 the Mansfield Police were dispatched to 1650 Matlock Rd, the Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park - Mansfield, TX, on a burglary.

Mansfield Parks Department employees told the officer that one of the storage buildings had been entered and property was removed.

The suspect arrived on the 8th at approximately 1 p.m., parked his vehicle, and walked into the park. 

The suspect removed several pieces of lawn maintenance equipment after he damaged the door lock to get in the maintenance building.

The suspect arrived in a black Chevrolet Avalanche truck. After breaking into the building he used a maintenance vehicle to transport the stolen property to his truck then left the park.

The Mansfield Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying the suspect. Anyone with information can contact Detective T. Wing at 817-276-4745 or call Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
