September-October 2015 Issue - Fall Harvest

Sep 26, 2015 09:29AM ● By Kevin
We all have heroes growing up - super heroes, athletes, movie stars - that inspire us and entertain us. As we grow older though, we begin to see the true heroes in life, like our public safety officers, survivors of tragic events and diseases, our parents and grandparents...

In our September-October issue, we highlight a few of our local heroes, like in our Community Profile and Your Neighbor pieces. In our Community Profile, we feature Mansfield’s fire inspector, Phillip Baker, who is a specialist in the Fire Prevention Division and an active participant in the department’s Fire Safety Clowns program. We feature the clowns program in the Your Neighbor section.

Carol Ritchie comes back with another installment of Cookin' With Carol, this time serving up a warm bowl of paella. Recipe and tips inside.

With football season upon us, you'll be munching on some gameday snacks in front of your big screen TV. However, if you're looking to upgrade, Laurie Fox has some tips on purchasing, hanging and enjoying.

We also have some special health & wellness and lawn & garden tips from area experts. Your mouth will water without the guilt when you read our Local Flavor piece this month, highlighting Fit Fuel Grill.

All of this, plus some great online-exclusive content to tide you over until the next edition of Mansfield Magazine!

Browse around for articles and information on everything you need to know about the local community and let us know what you’d like to see more of!
