One of our favorite things about Fall is all of the free outdoor concerts at Levitt Pavilion. The season began with Brave Combo where we enjoyed the music, conga line, hokey pokey and the Chicken Dance. We also enjoyed a Celtic rock concert by another favorite band, The Killdares. It was there last stop before playing daily at the State Fair of Texas. Members hung out at the After Party @Hooligan’s.
We tried the brand new Fort Worth Opera Shots concert at Levitt too. It was unique and amazing to see so many young people discussing and singing songs from famous operas.
The weather cooperated for three more outdoor events. Ecofest provided great entertainment for families. We hosted a Bicycle Ride @River Legacy Park. And our members attended Food Truck Friday @Stovall Park.
Dinners and happy hours are always popular. We started the month with our recurring first Tuesday event, $5 Burgers & Happy Hour @Bar Louie.
In September we hosted Happy Hour @Crazee Crab, Dinner @Pho 95, Dinner Club: Pizza & Pasta @Tuscany’s Pizza & Pasta, and Happy Hour @JR Bentley’s. Plus two speed dating events, one for Singles 25-45, and another for Singles 40+. Plus we had a fundraiser for Team Covert Operations Susan G Komen 3-Day team called Save the Ta Ta’s Pub Crawl @Arlington Highlands.
We checked out a new BYOB painting place in Mansfield called A Canvas Social. We had a great time! Danced the night away at Studio 80 Dance Night in Fort Worth. And cheered on our team at a Cowboy’s Watching Party @Lori’s House.
