Registration for the 2016 spring season is open for the Southeast Arlington Little League. Registration ends when divisions are full, or Feb. 15th, whichever comes first. The organization expects divisions to fill up fast.
Southeast Arlington Little League was created 43 years ago in 1973.
"Our league is completely run by volunteers who sacrifice their time so that the kids of our community can play baseball," said Lucas Larson, the league president.
The little league program assists children in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the program is designed to develop superior citizens. It serves players ages 4-18 in Southeast Arlington, Mansfield and Grand Prairie.
The season begins on March 21 and runs through June 4. Games are played on weeknights and Saturdays at Cravens Park. Registration can be done online anytime at seallbaseball.com, or from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 6 at Cravens Park, or the same times on Feb. 13 at Academy Sports.
It is the only youth baseball league serving Mansfield that is eligible for the Little League World Series, which is seen every August on ESPN.

Registration Fee Schedule is as follows:
Tee Ball $80
Modified Tee Ball $100
Coach Pitch $140
All Kid Pitch $170
Registration Fees include a MLB team hat, MLB jersey, belt, and socks (pants will be provided in lieu of belt and socks for Tee-Ball divisions). The fees will cover a twelve games schedule, weather permitting.
