The Mansfield Area Marines is dedicated to helping the local community, providing support for local area active Marines, and inactive Marines. Andrew Postell, member of the organization and senior loan officer at Cambria Mortgage in Keller, recently reported the group raised $10,000 to local charities in addition to its $12,000 donation to Toys for Tots.

As an example of some of the initiatives that have helped the organization raise these funds, the group has held raffles and golf tournaments, and sells Marine apparrel and collectibles. Members meet
on the first Monday of every month at Fat Daddy's Sports & Spirits Cafe in Mansfield, located at 781 West Debbie Lane.

Mansfield Area Marines is a registered charitable organization. Postell shared photos with us from 2015 fundraising events in our gallery above.

"Thanks for even allowing us the opportunity to share these with you," he said. "Semper Fi."
