A new Mansfield student was featured in a Christian film on anti-bullying/suicide. His mother recounts the experiences of her son's young acting career:

We are a military family. We recently moved from Fort Sam Houston to this area just before school started. Nate attends Mary Lillard Intermediate and is in the fifth grade.

He was born premature at 32 weeks and only weighed 3 pounds. His struggles were minimum and challenges included slow growth. He was a tiny kid, which led us to get involved in activities to help encourage him as an only child, such as public speaking, confidence, acceptance and anti-bullying.

He was one of the kids in San Antonio to audition and get accepted into an acting camp. The children later performed Roxaboxen downtown at The Children's Magik Theatre.

He was an extra in a Chuck E Cheese's commercial and a role in the short film (below) about bullying (as a smaller kid).

Now, that we are settled we will get started on new roles in our new location.
