Local Mansfield Resident is the New Face of Hershey's S'Mores

There is a new face for Hershey's S'Mores, and it's local Mansfield resident Caden Thompson Hammer. As a result of landing this large name-brand gig, he has seen his face all over Hershey's products in stores like Walmart and Target.

Where did it all begin? With Mansfield Magazine, of course! Caden’s very first gig was the cover of our Summer 2012 Magazine (Right). Since then, he has managed to not only tackle the modeling world by landing a large name like Hershey's, but he's also managed to maintain a healthy home life filled with schoolwork, and swimming for fun.

We got in touch with Caden and his mother, Tracie, to learn about his experience being the new face of Hershey's, his hobbies, and his day job -- elementary school.

Tell us a little bit about you! How did you get into modeling?

My mom posted a pic of me for a Facebook contest, to be photographed for Mansfield Magazine. A lot of our friends ad family voted and I was lucky enough to be picked, along with a couple of other kids!

Do you remember being on the cover of our magazine a few years ago? What was that experience like?

I do remember, it was a lot of fun. I really like animals and really cool ones were there! I loved holding the rooster, it was awesome!

I have been told that you are now the face of Hershey's s'mores. How has that experience been?

It's been so much fun! We had no idea my picture was going to be in all those Walmart stores!

Have you had a favorite moment so far?

My favorite moment was when one of my teachers from school, Mrs. Owens, sent my mom a text, letting her know she just saw my Hershey's picture at Walmart! That's how we first learned it was out and where -- then friends from ALL over the U.S. started sending us pictures of them with my ad!

Do you hope to continue modeling in the future?

Mom says 'as long as I'm having fun and it doesn't affect my schoolwork', I can keep modeling. I have fun doing pictures but don't like the "acting" stuff, memorizing words, so we don't do those anymore... just pictures!

What are some things you like to do for fun?

We live out in the country now and my favorite thing to do is fish, swim, and play with friends.

Have you seen Caden in any stores? Post your pictures in the comments!
