After a big hit in a game against Cedar Hill High School, top prospect for Mansfield High School Cam'ron Jones took to social media to let everyone know that he will be okay. In fact, he ended up playing the week after being in the hospital.

From teammate Miles
Williams' Tweet.

In a Tweet, Jones posted, "I want to thank everyone for the prayers and support love y'all [...] i'll be ok !"

During the September 8, 2017 games, Jones took a hit in which he sustained a neck injury. Luckily, it appears that he will be doing okay.

It's been a big relief to the local area as Jones is committed to play for UCLA after he graduates.

Mansfield beat Cedar Hill that night 38-21. He is expected to continue playing through the rest of the season while keeping an eye on his neck.
