Food in the Mansfield area and beyond is kind of a big deal. Construction and expansion has been big for years now, and that includes new eateries.

We put together a list of a few newly opened eateries in the Mansfield area for you to try out. Some are brand new, while others are part of a franchise. See if your favorite made the list!

Napoli Italian Restaurant

Owners Beth & Jimmy

Napoli Italian Restaurant was a well-loved Italian restaurant in Mansfield. A few years ago, ownership changed hands, which in turn changed the feeling of Napoli Italian Restaurant.

Luckily, the original owners, Edith and Jimmy, are back! They opened up shop in a new location and are excited to serve the community once again.

We also featured them in an article, "Original Owners of Mansfield's Napoli Italian Restaurant Celebrate New Location, Classic Menu," because they were such a local success. They answered a few questions for us too, so be sure to take a look.

One of their reviewers said, "I'm so glad you are back!!! I was heartbroken when I pulled up to the old location and you were no longer there. Welcome back! My favorite dish is the lobster ravioli #delicious."

Visit to learn more, or stop by their restaurant at 2860 Highway 157 N Suite 100, Mansfield, TX.

Fontana's Fine Cuisine has been providing dining experiences for over 40 years and in January of this year they reopened at a new location in Arlington.

One of their Facebook reviewers said, "The best Italian food we've EVER eaten! Black and white linen tablecloths sets the tone for the elegant atmosphere. The wine list was in a several page leather bound binder and they offered a very nice selection. The wine is displayed in a gorgeous glass cabinet and reflects a beautiful hue of blue. You can eat in the fantastic bar which is separate from the restaurant. The service was excellent and the restaurant and restrooms were extremely clean!"
