The Salvation Army has an URGENT request for Angel Tree donors for the Angel Tree located inside the Parks Mall near Sears. There are over 600 Angels needing Christmas gifts!

If you are able to adopt an Angel or know someone who can, please head to the Parks Mall and pick up an Angel card by the end of the day today!

Gifts need to be dropped off at the Salvation Army by 5:00pm Monday, December 11th.

About the Salvation Army Angel Tree

November 10 - December 6

Through their popular Angel Tree program, The Salvation Army hopes to collect over 250,000 donated Christmas gifts for local children in the DFW area. The gifts will be collected at 10 local shopping malls and will be distributed in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, and Ellis Counties.

Compassionate citizens wishing to help a child this Christmas can stop by any Salvation Army Angel Tree and select an Angel tag from the tree. Each tag lists a child’s first name, age, gender, clothing sizes, wish item, and need item. Special code numbers ensure the gifts go to the families who asked for them.

Parents began interviewing for Christmas assistance at Salvation Army community centers at the end of September. To qualify, they meet with a Salvation Army worker who reviews income and expense information to make sure the family is in need. During the interview, the worker collects information about the children which is printed on the Angel tags.

Participating Malls:

NorthPark Center
Galleria Dallas
The Shops at Willow Bend
Town East Mall
Grapevine Mills Mall
