Each of the events in our list offers family fun activities and some even include furry animals and free admission – your weekend can’t get much better than this!


Earth Day Mansfield

This is the 2nd Annual Earth Day Mansfield event presented by Keep Mansfield Beautiful and the Mansfield Water Utilities Department. This outdoor event includes a Children’s Area, Kid’s Fishing Tournament, Rain Barrel Auction, Music, Dancers, Natural Product Vendors, Tiny House and Smart Car Displays, Environmental Education, Food Trucks, Beverages and More!

Midlothian Wine & Arts Festival

The Midlothian Wine & Arts Festival features Texas wineries & local artists paired with local businesses. 15 Wineries, craft beer for sale, over 100 artisans and live music, shopping, food trucks, inflatable park for the kids, more! Festival admission is free. Wine Walk tickets are $25/ticket. Must be 21 years or older to join the Wine Walk.

Paws for a Cause Dog Walk

Hosted by Richter Animal Hospital. $25 entry fee includes one t-shirt and one pet bandana. All proceeds from this annual event will benefit the Shontale Holloway Foundation of Hope. Enjoy hot dogs, chips, drinks, cupcakes, a prize wheel and pet photo booth.

Mansfield Farmer’s Market Opening Day

The Farmer’s Market is ready to open for the 2018 season. All the old favorites will be on hand alongside some new additions you’re sure to love! Stop by and pick up homemade jellies, jams, tamales, fruits, vegetables, handmade products and more. Live music. Food trucks. Free gardening talks at 8:30 am. And 12:30 pm.

Grand Prairie Police Department Car Show

Hosted by the Midlothian Classic Wheels Car Club.  Car, truck and motorcycle show. Food trucks. Free spectator admission. All proceeds benefit Children First Counseling Center, a local non-profit organization dedicated to counseling families who have been victimized by crime.
