Methodist Mansfield Opens Amon G. Carter Foundation Kids Zone
CareFlite CEO Jim Swartz, Methodist Mansfield Vice President of Nursing/CNO Nora Frasier and Chair of the Mansfield Chamber Todd Simmons cut the ribbon on the helipad to officially celebrate the opening of the Amon G. Carter Foundation Kids Zone and CareFlite.
Nearly 60 community leaders joined Methodist Mansfield and CareFlite for the ribbon cutting of the new Amon G. Carter Foundation Kids Zone this month (June 2018) on the Emergency Department heliport. The 864 sq. ft. kids zone includes three brightly colored painted rooms equipped with interactive play stations and toys to help children stay entertained while being treated.
Methodist Mansfield treated more than 8,000 injured children last year.
