Spring has sprung in Mansfield, and with it comes the return of the Mansfield Activities Center’s popular Bunny Brunch. The annual event, set for Saturday, April 8, includes a light brunch, spring-themed crafts and face painting. Of course, no brunch would be complete without a visit from the Easter Bunny himself, who will be available for visits and pictures with guests. “Bunny Brunch is one of my favorite events all year; it’s so nice to celebrate the new season with a light and easy event that everyone enjoys,” said Mary Jones, Mansfield Activities Center program coordinator. “The kids love the activities, and the parents love that it’s simple and fast. It’s just so much more fun for everyone to have a morning of games planned out for you that includes some personal, low-pressure time with the Easter Bunny rather than waiting in a line at the mall for a few hours just to pay an arm and a leg for one picture. We let everyone take their own pictures and then get back to the real fun: spending real quality time together.” To accommodate schedules and include as many guests as possible, the brunch is available at two separate seating times, beginning either at 9 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. Tickets are required for all guests ages 2 and up, and start at $6 for adults and $9 for children, with a discount for MAC members. Registration for the celebration is open now through April 6, and can be completed online with an existing MAC account or in person at the Mansfield Activities Center, 106 S. Wisteria St. For more information, contact the MAC front office (817) 728-3680.
