Come to the spring plant sale and choose from a wide assortment of annuals, citrus trees, fruit trees and small fruits, ground covers, herbs, perennials, shrubs, succulents, vegetables, and vines. The sale features many specialty plants grown at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden as well as plants offered by rose, African violet, begonia, daylily, and cactus & succulent societies. Other vendors will be selling garden-related merchandise as well. Garden staff will be on site to answer your plant questions. BYOW (Bring Your Own Wagon) for loading plants! Prior to the sale, the public can attend the following preview classes to prepare for the plant sale: tropical plants taught by the owner of The Tree Place nursery on April 3, and plants offered in the plant sale taught by Garden staff on April 4 and 5. These classes start at 6:00 P.M. in the classroom of the conservation greenhouse on the I-30 access road between University Drive and Montgomery Street. Fee for classes is $15.00, which can be applied toward purchases at the spring plant sale. Call Judy at 817-392-5534 to register.
