a free program at the Warmack Library
At 6:30 p.m. on April 19, the Warmack Library hosts "Egyptian Jewelry." The ancient Egyptians produced exquisite jewelry: rings, necklaces,and bracelets used for both adornment and protection. Presenter Rollin Phipps will display both ancient jewelry as well as detailed replicas, and will explain the materials and processes that they used. Phipps’ personal collection of artifacts from ancient Egypt has been exhibited at many colleges and libraries. He has written three books on Egypt, and spoken to libraries, civic groups, and churches.
