Mansfield Churches For the City - National Day of Prayer Event

Mansfield Churches Bridge Differences and Gather Together “With One Voice” to Pray for Our Community

Mansfield Churches Bridge Differences and Gather Together “With One Voice” to Pray for Our Community at National Day of Prayer Event on Thursday, May 4. One Nation, One City, One People, with One Voice Prayers for Our Nation and Community This is a time for all of our churches to come together and in one accord - with one voice - to pray - for our country and Mansfield community at this year’s National Day of Prayer. This past year we have experienced much that would, or could, divide us as a people. Whether through national political elections and policies, or local issues throughout our city, the opportunities to be further divided have been ever present. But by the grace of God and for His glory (cf. Daniel 9), we choose to stand united, as one nation, one city, and one people, lifting up with one voice our prayers of praise, confession, and requests to our God. Join us in prayer on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the following ways: Pray Personally - Spend 15 minutes at some point that day on your knees in prayer. Pray as a Church - Join your church for 30 minutes in prayer at the Flagpole in front of Mansfield City Hall, 1200 E. Broad St. Find your church’s time slot at this link. Pray as a City - Come end the day at a special 60 minute ONE Voice City-Wide Prayer Event at 6:30 pm on the lawn of the Mansfield Performing Arts Center, 1110 W. Debbie Lane (bring a lawn chair and a friend!) Find our more info and things to pray for on our Mansfield Churches For the City Facebook page
