An Evening with Patriots Dinner Series - Bryan Anderson and Joey Bozik

Please join us at III Forks in Dallas for our next dinner series, An Evening with Patriots on February 22nd. Bryan Anderson and Joey Bozik will be our guest speakers. Bryan and Joey both served and were injured in Iraq with their separate units. During their recovery, they met at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Bryan served two tours in Iraq. The first was relatively uneventful, but he could tell right away the second tour was a more dangerous situation. After experiencing a few close calls involving explosives, his Humvee was destroyed by an Improved Explosive Device on Oct. 23, 2005, resulting in the loss of both of his legs and his left hand. Now, Bryan says he knows that this was just one of life's experiences. Today, Bryan is retired from military service and he is the spokesperson for Quantum Rehab, a division of Pride Mobility Products. It's a role that suits Bryan well, allowing me to travel the country and meet new people, something he really enjoys. Looking toward the future, Bryan is pursuing a career in film, with an interest in acting and stunt work. He also wants to continue to grow with Quantum Rehab, and to work to ensure that all of the men and women who serve in United States military receive the proper recognition. Joey joined the army in 2000 and was stationed at Fort Bragg NC with the 82nd airborne. After 6 years of service he was severely injured by an IED while operating in Iraq. He lost both of his legs and his right arm below the elbow. He received a purple heart and a bronze star for his service. After returning to civilian life Joey completed his bachelors in Phycology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a focus on forensic phycology. He worked for a season with the Department of Homeland Security child sex crimes division as a computer forensics analyst before cofounding We Defy Foundation.
