The Stray Cats with Lee Rocker on bass, sold more than 10 million records, garnered an astounding 23 gold and platinum records worldwide, and were music video pioneers of MTV. Their worldwide mega hits, "Stray Cat Strut," "Sexy and Seventeen" and "Rock this Town" have become part of the fabric of rock 'n' roll, and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame included "Rock this Town" as one of the 500 most important songs in rock. Except for the occasional reunion, The Stray Cats are no more, but their double bassist, Lee Rocker, has gone on to a successful solo career. He brings his Bass Hall of Famer artistry to the Levitt at 8 p.m., presented by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. From the cover of Rolling Stone to appearing on Saturday Night Live and performing on Broadway, Lee has seen and done it all, cultivating a loyal following of rockers, rebels and all types of music lovers. His concerts are a time for Lee to tell stories about his days on the road and in the music business for the last 35 years, including sharing stories about his adventures lugging a giant piece of equipment around.
