Arlington Black Chamber July General Meeting
Calling all Business Owners, Contractors, Entrepreneurs, & Professionals!!!
Our next scheduled Arlington Black Chamber of Commerce meeting will be on Thursday, July 19th, 2018 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Shell Shack in the Private Meeting Room in Lincoln Square. The address is: 770 E Road to Six Flags St #100, Arlington, TX 76011.
Our Keynote Speaker will be Mr. Milton Jones. Milton is currently the Supply Chain Director at the General Motors Arlington Assembly Plant in Arlington, Texas. Home of GM’s top selling Full Size Sport Utility Trucks (Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon and Escalades). Arlington Assembly is a 3 shift vehicle manufacturing plant with over 6,000 part numbers. Daily volume is 1,203 vehicles a day.
General Motors is one of the largest employers in Arlington and North Texas and is a key part of the City’s economic foundation. The Arlington Assembly Plant, currently undergoing a $1.4 billion expansion, employs more than 4,200 workers and produces approximately 320,000 full-size sports utility vehicles each year. Those vehicles include the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban; GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade.
Our Special Guest is Miss Arlington USA 2018 Beauty Queen Rachel Renee Hornbuckle. She is competing in the statewide portion of the National Contest and is preparing to take the Bar Exam on July 24th.
Montez Jones, CEO of Tez Jones Training Solutions, is a John C. Maxwell certified Executive Director, a Master Leadership Trainer, and a 26-year Air Force (retired) Veteran. He has agreed to provide a Master Leadership Lesson at every Arlington Black Chamber Meeting.
At our Arlington Black Chamber May Meet & Greet, we drew over over 70 Business Owners, Contractors, and Entrepreneurs. At our 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration, we hosted over 200.
We anticipate this July 2018 Meeting to be another great Arlington Black Chamber Networking Meeting & event. Bring plenty of business cards & be prepared to give your 30 second Elevator pitch.
