Texas Pollinator PowWow

Birds, bats, bees, butterflies and more! Come learn about Texas plants and their pollinators, the conservation challenges they are facing, and how YOU can help! The TEXAS POLLINATOR POWWOW 2014 brings you topics ranging from native plants and bees, to hummingbirds and honey bees, to urban and rural land management best practices by experts from around the state. We will also have a great group of exhibitors on hand all day to answer questions, provide resources, and showcase their organizations. There will be live exhibits featuring butterflies, caterpillars and the precious bat 'ambassadors' from Bat World. Desirable pollinator-related items will be available by raffle at the end of the day (your presence is required to win). Registration information can be found under the "2014 Event Information and Registration" tab on the website. NOTE: EARLY REGISTRATION ($15 with lunch) ENDS NOVEMBER 6; REGISTRATION AFTER THE 6TH IS $25 (and NO lunch). PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN ADVANCE (mail in your check) TO RESERVE YOUR MEAL.
