Arlington Black Chamber July General Meeting

Friends, Our next scheduled meeting of the Arlington Black Chamber will be on Thursday, July 21st, 2016 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Jamaica Gates Caribbean Cuisine Restaurant, located at 1020 W. Arkansas Ln., Arlington, TX 76013. EVERYONE is invited to attend. Our Keynote Speaker is Mr. Gregory James. Mr. James has extensive experience in federal contracting and contract financing. Mr. James currently serves as the Director of the Cross Timbers Procurement Center (CTPC) located at the University of Texas at Arlington. The purpose of Cross Timbers is to assist all business firms in obtaining and performing under federal, state and local governments. Prior to CTPC, Mr. James was the Project Director of the Dallas/Fort Worth MBDA Business Center in Dallas and the Minority Business Enterprise Center (MBEC) which is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency. Mr. James was an investor and former President/Chief Operations Officer of PAZ Energy LLC. The group of eleven minority investors negotiated a $125 Million loan from Silver Point Finance to acquire 11.03% in 114 natural gas wells at D/FW International Airport operated by Chesapeake Energy. Mr. James graduated from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and has served on the SMU Alumni Board of Directors.
