Blues artist Larry Lampkin will be Under the Stars at the Labyrinth Walk Coffee House (LWCH) on Sept. 18 starting at 7:30. A $10 donation is requested.

An art show is also being arranged featuring local artists.

Larry Lampkin is an American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter. He kuves in Fort Worth Texas, where he was born and raised. Larry started writing songs and playing guitar as a teenager. He is mostly a self taught musician but had the privilege of taking some guitar lessons from experienced neighbor musicians, such as blues legend, U.P. Wilson.

Larry has toured the USA as a lead guitarist and band leader for recording artist, soul-blues singer, Vernon Garrett. and released his first CD titled “When I Get Home” which received immense air play and reviews. Larry performed on the American blues scene as a solo artist, sharing the stage and ticket with some of the world’s greatest blues artist such as Lucky Peterson, Buddy Guy, John Mayall and many more.

He is a unique songwriter who writes about everyday life experiences and is one of the most exciting new blues guitar players coming onto the scene today. A passionate artist who performs from his soul. His music has been greatly influenced by the sounds of Texas, Chicago, and Delta blues.
